Tis' the season of Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and office holiday parties. That means time to DRESS IT UP AND MAKE IT NICE! It can be hard and expensive to budget for all the events on the social calendar during the holiday season. So, today we'll dish on all the things.
FRIENDSGIVING
First up, Friendsgiving, this kicks off the festivities.
Casual: A casual Friendsgiving is super chill. The slay options are pretty vast. Although it's casual we suggest leaving the leggings and joggers at home. You can rock your favorite jeans and a cute top or a really nice skirt set.
Formal : If the dress code is formal, you'll need to step it up a notch. So leave the jeans at home. You can't go wrong with a #LBD (little black dress) or a bomb suit!
THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving is time to celebrate with your family. Normally the dress code is not as relaxed because grandma is there and maybe a few in-laws. So serving the perfect slay is a must.
Casual: Think job interview when choosing your look. We want to be looking for slacks, dress pants, khakis, nice skirts and cute blouses.
Formal: Formal for a family Thanksgiving dinner is a fun. You can serve the looks from Friendsgiving or you can get a little more personalized and festive. Because who knows you better than your family.
CHRISTMAS
Casual: Christmas is a time to SPARKLE, GLIMMER and SHINE! So even if you're keeping it casual, don't forget the sequins, studs and all the shiny things. It can be something as simple as a sweater or you can serve up some studded lapels.
Formal: There's two ways to do a formal Christmas look. You can give us some Mariah Carey magic or some demure diva vibes. Everything is on the table from gowns and suits to costumes and pajamas.
OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY
Casual: The best thing to wear can vary depending on the casualty of your office dress code. If you have the fun festive vibe, a holiday themed sweater and jeans is perfect. If that is a
little too loose for your office setting a fire fit in the appropriate holiday colors will do just fine.
Formal: If your office has a more formal party. It standard to wear a nice dress or pant set. Nothing too risky or sexy but def STEP IT UP!
NEW YEARS EVE
Casual: If you're having an informal NYE at home with friends or at a night club. You won't need that gown but you don't want to be kissing prince or princess charming in sweatpants. So think cute little sexy dresses and form fitting sets. You'll still need to bring the bling, so don't forget the sparkle.
Formal: Unless you're royalty, there's few opportunities to rock a ball gown. There's prom, your wedding and NYE. So, if your dream is to serve a runway slay that's Met Gala worthy or a gaudy ass ornate gown. This is your chance to do the damn thing Doll!
