Hey Dolls,
If you're anything like me you change your hair like you change your underwear and you're always looking for a way to elevate and accentuate your hair styles. With so many options, how's a girl to chose? Let's talk all things hair accessory related.
Scrunchie
First up, the scrunchie, an 80s classic. While this tiny ring of fun has been around FOREVER, it's not the easiest to incorporate. You do not want to underestimate the power of the scrunchie. Too much scrunchie is an 80s nightmare and too little scrunchie is a whimpy attempt to have a moment of sassy nostalgia.
Hair Pins
Next, we have hair clips and pins. These have come back in a MAJOR WAY! This is an easy way to glam it up. It also offers function. Say goodbye to fly-aways and stray hairs. With clips and pins less is more and more is more. A few pins are clean and classic, while several are glam AF! Currently the trend is to wear as many pins as possible but you can be just as fabulous with one or two.
Headwraps and Scarfs
Headwraps and scarves are not reserved for bad hair days or the queens of neo-soul. They add a little spice to any look. You can leave a little hair out or completely cover it up. The wraps and scarves can be solid and simple or decadent and bold.
Headbands
Headbands have come a long way from basic and we're happy about it. They're more ornate and can be worn for more occasions than just fitness. Yes, they hold your hair back like a good girlfriend on a Saturday night and now they do it in style.
Then there's the non-traditional hair accessories. Our faves are lace, foils, diamonds and yarn. These newly trending accessories are FIERCE! They are reserved for CREATING A MOMENT!
Lace, Foils and More
Hair is an accessory that can be accessorized! The key is to have fun and not take it too seriously. Try new things and try them often. We want to know Dolls, what's your favorite hair accessory?
