Hey Dolls,
Looks like we're still social distancing. I figured we could take a few days and comb through time, experience a little nostalgia, see if there are any trends we left behind that we can use now and wonder why we ever thought THAT was a good idea. So, the year is 2000, The Millennium, Y2K!!! Let's see what was happening.

Luckily by this time we had ditched the Walkman and portable disc players for MP3 players. Smaller, more storage and super cute. Life was good. But more importantly, "What was playing?"

Fashion
Not much has changed from the year 2000 to the year 2020 in terms of fashion. Yes, we have left behind some designers (Von Dutch, Juicy and Baby Phat) and maybe we ditched the drop waist. But we kept the silhouettes, color palette and slightly modified the hair styles. Oh, and thank goodness we aren't letting our underwear strings hang out anymore.
COCKTAILS
Although we didn't have the pleasure to drink the top cocktails of the year 2000 when they were a thing. I can say Y2K coktails were the REAL DEAL. Electric blue Hypnotic was a hip-hop favorite and crunk juice was the cocktail of choice on college campuses while the ladies who brunched enjoyed Appletini's.
It doesn't feel like 2000 was two decades ago and it's hard to believe MP3 players aren't all the rage anymore. One thing I would like to see resurface is chain belts. We love a good chain belt here at The Dollhouse. What would you Dolls like to bring from Y2K to today? What have we unnecessarily carried forward?
